‘The stillness of water under the watchful eye of the galah; joy and energy’
Inspired by the Isabella Gardens: the burst of colour never leaves my mind. Kurume, Azaleas, rhododendrons, ponds and the wildlife. The Galah found in large flocks usually near water in Australia, they are noisy flocks and form permanent bonded pairs.
The colours of a turtle’s shell are brown, black,red,orange,yellow, and olive green with grey markings , spots , lines , or irregular blotches. One of the most colourful turtles is the eastern painted turtle, which includes a yellow plastron and a black or olive shell with red markings around the rim.
Inspired by tropical forests in the Amazon, this is a story on the sustainable life cycle of flora and fauna elements in the forest. This design represents a highlight on the ‘ark of deforestation’ which is a section of the forest under threat from logging. The Vector collection is inspired by the linear structures of scaffolding and the pattern and shapes found within modern architecture. This is conveyed throughout the collection through experimenting with colours, layering of shapes and linear structures to create motifs and compostions.
